This non-destructive method is based on the detection of neutrons emitted during the decay of various radioactive materials.
Our solutions integrate commercially available detectors, screening, and moderating materials into measurement solutions.
They are augmented by practical mechanical systems and software, with the desired automation level.
Applications
n-CHECK is particularly used to assist or substitute gamma spectrometry when the characterized containers include a matrix or additional materials that strongly absorb gamma rays, like metals. It is also necessary when the container encloses high intensity gamma emitters such as Cs-137 or Co-60. These challenges especially concern inventories or materials & waste management.
